Lady Gaga appeared on ABC's The View this morning to discuss marriage equality and other hot topics, and the current cover of The Advocate made a cameo appearance.
View cohost Elisabeth Hasselbeck brought up New York's decision to allow same-sex marriage, and while Gaga voiced her excitement at once again hearing the news, the performer's recent self-portrait on the cover ofThe Advocate appeared on screen behind her. Gaga then recounted how she first heard the news (via Twitter) and told a story about the thrill experienced by two of her lesbian friends.
Gaga also took the opportunity to comment on Tim Gunn's controversial criticism of Hilary Clinton's wardrobe, saying, "He’s being a bully. I think Hillary Clinton has more important things to worry about than her hemline. I certainly don’t. I certainly only care about my hemline.”
