Jeffrey Fashion Cares Gets Naked Onboard New York's Intrepid For LGBT Causes

Speedo-clad male models on starboard, Captain! In what we fancy to be a sweetly ironic play on the armed forces' "don't ask, don't tell" policy, the 8th annual Jeffrey Fashion Cares event took off Monday night on the aircraft carrier, Intrepid. The beautiful people, 1,200 of them to be exact, were out in full force at the glamorous event showcasing the spring '11 Jeffrey New York menswear runway show and live auction of designer items in support of four exceptional LGBT organizationsThe Hetrick-Martin InstituteLambda Legal Defense FundGay Men’s Health Crisis, and The Lawrence King Memorial Scholarship at the Point Foundation.. With Jeffrey Kalinsky and host Nate Berkus at the helm, top fashion and art world luminaries Jason Wu, Peter Som, Joseph Altuzarra, Carlos Huber, Sophie Theallet, and Sky Ferreira mingled and jived all night to a soundtrack provided by DJs Michaelangelo D'Acqua and David Marc. This raucous charity benefit raised a cool $550,000 through ticket sales alone! Partying in the name of charity is always welcome at our door. If caring always feels this good, sign us up again next year.

Look through to see some of the model shots—and guests!
